About The Position

XTEND, an Israeli defense-tech company listed on the NYSE and a leader in autonomous drone systems, is hiring a Legal Counsel to join our Legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel.

This is an opportunity to work in a young, dynamic public company, side by side with the GC, on a broad range of matters across a global group.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing SEC reporting requirements: preparing 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy Statements, and Section 16 filings, working with company management and outside U.S. counsel
  • Support SOX processes and internal controls, including ongoing work with the CFO and finance team
  • Support the work of the Board of Directors and its committees: preparing materials, resolutions, and minutes, and handling the corporate secretarial function
  • Manage corporate governance across the group’s subsidiaries (U.S. and other jurisdictions)
  • Support equity matters: option and RSU plans, Section 102 mechanisms, and work with the trustee and transfer agent
  • Support commercial agreements and handle ongoing legal matters as needed

Requirements

  • Attorney with 4–7 years of experience; U.S. bar admission preferred
  • Proven experience in Capital Markets / Securities — from a leading firm or a public company
  • Proven experience with SEC reporting / U.S.-listed companies (NYSE/Nasdaq)
  • Native-level English, including legal drafting
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

Advantage

  • Familiarity with the defense sector or regulated industries (export control, DECA)
  • Experience working within a multinational group
