About The Position

XTEND is looking for a General Manager to lead its Operations, Business Development, and Sales in XTEND’s primary market.

This role requires a highly experienced manager with leadership skills and a strong commercial orientation, for an agile and fast-growing company providing the world’s best warfighters with revolutionary technology.

  • Lead and manage the XTEND inc.
  • Overarching management of two main departments: Business Development & Sales, Technical Operations
  • Build and lead a strong over-achieving sales team to own the entire sales cycle
  • Drive new business opportunities at the strategic and tactical level
  • Work closely with senior management team based in Israel to build and execute an aggressive capture plan
  • Achieve sales goals within the U.S. DoD and HLS & Law Enforcement markets
  • Build strong industry partnerships to further drive XTEND's business positioning and footprint
  • Scan, source, execute and win government solicitations such as RFIs, RFPs, BAAs, and others
  • Measure and analyze key performance metrics and reflect sales & operations activities and results to XTEND senior management
  • Manage XTEND inc. budget in accordance with the company's CFO
  • Define and lead XTEND inc. roadmap and work plans
  • Report directly to XTEND CEO


  • Experienced general manager with a minimum of 5 years in leading teams, out of which at least 3 years in Business Development / Sales roles
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the defense industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree - Must. MBA or equivalent - Advantage
  • Experienced in hiring and building a teams
  • Track record of overachieving quotas as sales manager
  • Experienced in working in Hardware and Product companies
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and organizational structures
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed personal and team goals & objectives
  • Ability to work independently, plan workload, and deliver on commitments
  • A team player who is also independent, with self-motivation and the ability to motivate others
  • Experience in Customer Service, and operational or logistical workflows
  • Experience in managing a budget (P&L) on a business unit level
  • Passion for our product, and desire to join a team of enthusiastic experts and general technology lovers
  • Strong commercial sensitivity, action, logical thinking
  • Veteran - Advantage
  • Willing to travel (up to 50%)
